Drip drop the rain won't stop

It fills me up but never runs over

Drip drop the rain has stopped

Still as ever but flowing like the breeze

Drip drop the rain won't stop

Touching everything on the way down leaving only a sound

Drip drop the rain has stopped

No longer able to be seen but filled all around

Drip drop the rain won't stop

Drip drop the rain has stopped

But when it dripped did it drop or stop?
